team

There is need of a motivated, persistent and unified team in order to take on a task as great the protection of the rights of women in an unstable society. We have managed to create such a team.

Revenco Ana
Economist, NGO Management, President

"I have chosen to do what I do because I am convinced that nothing can be worse than ignorance and indifference. I believe that those who have stumbled should be encouraged, and that those who seek advice should be helped. I am proud of the young generation and I think it deserves to be upheld. The team with which I have the chance to work is dedicated and skilled, it is a team that can be relied upon, and a team which any director would wish to have working for them."

Daniela Misail-Nichitin
Doctor, Degree in Law, Vice-president International Center "La Strada", Resource Center Manager

"Working at "La Strada" is constantly challenging for me, because here it is necessary day-by-day to fight against the problems that appear, in order that we might stay on top of them. I want to do as much as I can for the young generation, as youth deserve more, and they have the potential to change our present situation."

Alina Budeci
Psychologist, MA in Psychotherapy and Psycho-Social Intervention, Drop-in Center Manager

"La Strada is an ideal work place. Here you will find a united team with a lot of motivation. We are a group of people who have combined our knowledge to promote the image of a self-satisfied, confident woman."

Svetlana Chintea
Bachelor in Special Psychopedagogy and social assistance, Master’s Degree in International Relation, Psyichopedagogue, Lecturer Free International University of Moldova, Drop-in Centre

“It’s an honour for me to work with a team of professionals who live in the shadow of the name “La Strada” where everyone controls his fate, and helps those who are in need to do the same... I am proud of my colleagues, and by paraphrasing Seneca’s quote “The display of grief makes more demands than grief itself”, I could say about them that “Many people are invited, but few are chosen”...

Tatiana Fomina
Lawyer, engineer-economist, Coordinator of the Current Programs

"The future activities of the Center will depend on the rhythm and direction of economic restructuring in our country. Regardless, we will be here for women, for the young generation, and we will continue to work for those who need us."

Nicolae Misail
teacher, journalist, PR officer

"Trafficking in human beings is a phenomenon which attacks the most sacred basics of human morality, shatters the future health of the mankind. A journalist by its vocation can not treat with ignorance such a grave phenomenon. This is a subject that requires a profound study and a respective attitude."

Viorelia Rusu
Philologist, MA in Social Assistance Management, analyst, Analytical and Lobby Center

"Activity at "La Strada" is more dynamic, more solicited and more stimulating… The future of the organization depends on our present decisions and actions. That is why I would like to make the existing programs more efficient and to initiate new programs that are more complex, especially concerning the assistance of female victims of trafficking."

Victoria Dochitcu
Psychologist, MA in management, Hotline coordinator

The value of a man lies in what he can give to others, and how he can help other people who are in need. By being a consultant at the Hot Line, one can display his/her best qualities, and has the opportunity to feel that he/she plays an important role in providing the necessary assistance to the beneficiary. If we will continue our activity with the same zeal and the same convictions, “La Strada” will keep its leadership in the future.

Ludmila Marza
contabil, Degree sau Bachelor in Economy, Hotline counsellor

“Find time to listen to everything and learn from everything. Find time to value the life and the world.”
Being a consultant at the Hot Line of the International Center “La Strada”, I have a great opportunity to communicate with different people and with the world in general. I have realized that I also can do something to keep others away from big troubles, even if my assistance is little.

Svetlana Nichitovschi
Bachelor in Sociology, Hotline counsellor

We live in a modern and flexible society, which is always ready to accept evolution and progress. At first sight, it looks perfect. Unfortunately, there are many serious problems in this modern and advanced world. In spite of the fact that we have entered the third millennium, we still have to confront phenomena existent in the Middle Age, such as slavery, forced labour, begging etc. Even if we call it differently - trafficking in human beings - the phenomenon is just the same, and this fact makes us wonder: What times we are living in? In my opinion, by working as the Hot Line consultant at the International Center “La Strada”, I can contribute significantly to the improvement of the situation that refers to the problem of trafficking in human beings.

Alina Popa
sociologist, Master’s Degree candidate in methodology social research, Hotline counsellor

“Being able to enter flow is emotional intelligence at its best; flow represents perhaps the ultimate in harnessing the emotions in the service of performance and learning”, says psychologist Daniel Goleman. I realized it when I started my activity at the International Center “La Strada”. Today, in the process of employment or at the working place, the IQ decreased in importance in front of EQ. Here they need people with strong character first of all, and only then with quick mind. I think this test helps not only to improve one’s own EQ, but it will also be helpful in life in general.

Sergiu Gurau
MA financial and public administration, Financial Department Assistant

"I have practiced for a while as a volunteer, after which I have decided to stay with the International Center "La Strada", since here you can always find an atmosphere of goodwill, feel yourself useful, appreciated and motivated. I appreciate a lot the noble and appropriate activity which is performed by the organization in Moldova, this is why I also would like to contribute to the implementation of the mission of the Center."

Angela Palancean
journalist, office manager

"The appropriate man at the right place” is the principle which I follow in my life. As an office assistant of any organization which has affirmed itself and has strengthen its position on the field of counteracting the trafficking in human beings, I have acknowledged that this thing happened due to the dedication and professionalism of the team. This is why I am trying to be useful for the activity of the International Center "La Strada", to help those who need our assistance. I also hope that in the near future "La Strada" will focus its activity more on traffic prevention; the cases of assisting the victims to become a rarer phenomenon, till this phenomenon will completely disappear."
